Autobiography


Hi guys, my name is Martín Medina and I am going to talk about my life  I am 18 years old. I was born on May 15th , 2001 in Melipilla, Chile. I have lived in my grandfather´s house all my life. My family is by for my mother Maria, my little brother Cristóbal and my grandparents, at present my family grew because I get two pets, they are two dogs calling Becky and Ricky.

I went to San Agustin school since "elementary" until "high school", I like sports, and for this I participated in the soccer team of school in the secondary and in the higschool I participated in the volleyball team. Besides I was a good student, I always got good grades and even I participated in the math competition where I got the third place. I studied principally scientist subject and for this, today I am study chemistry and pharmacy.

In my free time I like reading mistery books or play videogames, also I like spending my time with my brother because he is most younger than me, just 3 years so the relation between us is very good. My dogs are very loving so I play with them a lot but the most thing I like is singing, dancing and listening to music.

Finally as extra information I have many friends but I have just had a one girlfriend.

My future job

Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about my future job or at least the one I aspire to have. I am studying chemistry and pharmacy, which is a profession that has a lot of work field, of all that I can do I would like to do something more practical, be it the own manufacture of medicines in a laboratory or work in a hospital or clinic helping the people. The ideal would be to work in a laboratory in another country with few people but with a good work environment, of this way I would be happy to say that I work exactly on what I dream of, however I know that this may not happen so I am prepared for that. As I already said, I would like to work outside the country, but I see this in the long term since I plan to be economically stable and then go out to try my luck. Like many I would like to travel to many countries, although I do not know if I can see much if I am working, in terms of salary I trust that I will do a good job so I hope they pay me what I am worth....

My choice

I think my profession is important in the health of people but also is a little bit corrupt, or best say the pharmacists take advantage of the power that we have. I know that some drugs require a lot of resources to manufacture and that is why they are very expensive, but others are also easy to make and are just as expensive. This is a point of my profession that I do not like, however, not everything is bad, because we can help many people with that we do. Besides, I like that new things are always being researched to create new more effective and less harmful drugs. The benefits of my profession, for me, are that I can inform people about the medicines they can use in each case, also I can help people while working on something that like me, this is one reason why I chose my profession, it is also well paid. I really have expectations about my profession because I am risking my future that this goes well and I don't know what I will do if this goes wrong.
